I've had people tell me I was abusing my fish for having them in 1 gallon containers. People are like omg, you're abusing your fish by keeping them in one gallon containers!

If I remember correctly Italy made fishbowls illegal because it distorted the fishes sense of reality. Maybe all countries should to that... solve the small bowl thing world wide.

There is a really bad storm happening where I live. Usually I love storms, but this one seems quite violent. It sounds like a giant sprayer is slamming the rain against our windows, and the lightning is frequent and the thunder loud. Oh, and the huge trees are bending like crazy.

I think my new little cellophane halfmoon is blind. I've had him for a week now and the first few days he hardly moved around and acted timid. Now he swims around but can't seem to see his food. Sometimes he'll kind of snap at it and miss then he doesn't seem to know where it is. It's going to be kind of tricky feeding him and making sure he gets enough.

oh no D: you could try soaking the pellets in garlic or bloodworm juice, and then he would be able to smell them better. Also, maybe take out any caves, so he can't risk not being able to get to the top for air.

I guess pellets have no smell? I might try garlic juice. Would a feeding ring help? I've got him in a gallon container with 1 small plant.

He's adorable :D I can't tell if he's blind or not, though.
