And now we go against our "spirited debate".

Not exactly a rant but I miss my horse. >:'(

Well, he was never really mine. But I used to ride him with a girl down the road, and I loved him. She moved away after high school but before that she sold him to a friend. Now's she gone and no one rides him, but the guy who lives there says that he's not his to sell or lease.

I went and fed him grass through the fence yesterday. He's still such an onery sweetie. <3

Just realized how many new members are bypassing me in post counts. WTheck?

AAANYWAY...
I've been staying at my boyfriend's new apartment for a few days 'til I can get my room set up at home, and I had to leave my fishies at the old apartment. At least until everything is good to go in my new room. I get so anxious leaving them alone like that! And it's weird not having them around wiggling at me every time I walk by.
I'm especially anxious since I still have a couple of sick fish that aren't doing so hot. I visited today and they seemed to be alright... I was TRYING to fast them all before I was going to bag and move them... Which I was planning on doing today... However my plans went down the toilet. So I ended up feeding them all. They appreciated it. A lot.
On a happier note we brought Rikku (my boyfriend's fish) over to the new apartment yesterday, and he's adjusting well. For some reason his tank is in the bathroom... On the counter next to the toilet... And that fish has become fascinated with watching people sit on the toilet, and use the sink. I'll take a couple of pictures of his new setup and post it later. He's got one of those new 2.5 gal betta wave tanks from wal-mart... A little skinny for my taste but if he's happy, I'm happy.

Well, my spaghetti's done, so I'm finished rambling and ranting for the day. I have soooo much more to rant about as of late, but I'll spare you guys. lol

Neil, in Nebraska the temperature has been hitting 100F+ for the last two weeks. I have no intention of using a heater any time soon in any of my tanks, At least til the heat wave dies... I can barely handle this heat, and I'm a Nebraska girl, I'm built to handle it! I've been blasting the AC like there's no tomorrow... Ugh. If anything I'm worried about keeping the tanks stable! Trust me, I have an idea of what I'm doing. :)

It's going to be around 100 here tomorrow. I may make an early trip to the pool. No one should be down there so hopefully I'll have some peace and quiet. lol

Just bought myself a venus fly trap on impulse. Oddly enough much more high maintenance than bettas. We'll see how long I can keep this thing alive. It's just a baby so I plan on spoiling the heck out of it! Originally bought it for my mom... I texted her about it all excited and she was like "omg no I will kill it!" ... But that's alright, apparently I have a thing for ill-tempered carnivorous animals and plants. :)
