I'm moving out... when I move out :P idk if I'm going to stay at home for college. I want to because of my pets, but at the same time going out of state sounds appealing.

I can't give her advice. She doesn't listen to me. She's stubborn. Also, broke. She's a single mom with a crappy job. She doesn't have money to buy a bigger tank and heater, and she probably doesn't have time to take care of one. I wish she hadn't gotten a Betta.

as someone who got married at the ripe old age of 21 and now is in the process of getting a divorce, I just have to say, don't be too concerned about being in a relationship. I think once you finish school and hit the "real world" is when you really start figuring out what you want out of life and being in a serious relationship can really hinder that since you can get wrapped up in the "we" instead. you're young, enjoy it, figure out what it is you need from a relationship to be happy and once you do, don't settle until you can find someone who's not just willing to give it to you, but actually wants to.
that's just my personal experience, I know there are some people that marry their first boyfriend/girlfriend straight out of high school and are happily together for the rest of their lives, but they seem to be more the exception than the rule

Thanks. I wasn't expecting to marry him or anything, but... I dunno. I really liked him. My mom put it best, though: Now you're not in a relationship with a depressed video game addict with no goals in life!" She never really liked him xD I really appreciate everyone's advice and support, though. It makes my feel so much better.
