I just read the thread, Alyssa and I don't think what you said was out of line. I agree with what was said about being confrontational. I don't think there is any need for a person to start out saying something like "now don't jump down my throat because blah blah blah I take good care of my fish!!" All it does is make you want to jump down their throat.
