Although I have to admit. I work in customer service and I WILL be short with you if you act like as you said "one of those" customers to me. I DO NOT have to show respect just because I'm forced to work some low end job to make ends meet and you are the almighty customer. EVERYONE deserves respect and to treat someone like they're nothing because they work in food/retail is disgusting.
BTW.. I'm not saying you did that.. jsut wanted to make that clear :)
I know :)
And trust me, I've been on the receiving end of "those" customers. I just can't figure out why some people think they can order others around like that? We're all deserving of respect. And even if you aren't giving respect to me, I'll still give it back.
Normally I don't say boo to a fly. It takes a lot to get under my skin. You'd have to treat me pretty darned badly before I'd even think about complaining. Heck, the last time I felt compelled to write a letter was about 15 years ago.
If it was one employee treating me badly, I can forgive and understand. Maybe the last customer jumped all over them, who knows? But for the whole store to be like that? Makes me think their manager doesn't treat them well. I've often thought that poor management makes unhappy employees. That's why if I were to write a letter I'd include headquarters.
But we'll see. I also don't like harbouring bad feelings for long. As my husband is wont to say "don't let them live rent-free in your mind."
