LOL the plakat thing wouldn't work, I have a dragonscale pk now and had one in the past...

Do you think I could convince him it was just a verrrrry realistic replica of a betta?? LOL

"Oh look honey, it's just silicone, looks real doesn't it!"

Tell him it's battery operated too. Or solar powered.

Oo solar powered. The living room has access to LOTS of natural daylight (attached patio).

There ya go, a high-tech super advanced toy. Tell him it cost like $100 and remind him a real betta would only cost $5-15 but he wouldn't let you have one. Then he'll be happy when you get a betta.

HAHA good one. Tis a good thing he doesn't read my fish forums so he can't see all the evil plans I'm making!

@Fighter: LOL No it's not tiger balm, that's for muscle problems. For skin, I recommend White Flower Oil (Bak Fah Yao)

I'm sorry about that. :( I don't have alot of experience with fish disease or I'd offer advice.

That being said, I've been seeing an awful lot of reports of columnaris lately on multiple fish keeping forums that I belong to. While there were always some here and there, lately there have been many. It's starting to make me wonder if there is a new strain or something.

I posted on your thread, Bahamut, I hope it helps. Vapor rub. Good. I've got some kinda bite on my ankle that is driving me NUUUUUUUUTS! Three days straight now! If it's a flea bite, those cats are getting flea treatments, every last one of 'em, even the ones that don't go outside. And maybe baths.
