So I went to Petco today to get a betta fish. They didnt seem to have a very good selection this time. I wanted a crowntail but they only had like 3 or 4 and none of them looked very healthy/attractive. Then this little fella caught my eye. He was labeled as a halfmoon but I think he's a Delta. What do you guys think? So I ended up paying $13 when I thought I was only going to pay $7. Ah well, he's worth it. I named him Gabriel. After acclimating him to his new tank he started flaring at everything (and still is) is this normal? Although he's camera shy, he doesnt flare when I get close. He hides behind his plant. Also got him a java fern. He likes it I think :)
