do you watch your fish make bubble nests?

I just got my first bubble nest! I watched my fish for a while, and after he finally calmed down and decided I wasn't feeding him he went back to constructing his nest. It looks like he takes a gulp of air and then spits a bubble out into the nest and just does that over and over. I feel like one of my preschoolers, getting so excited over bubbles!

Only one of my bettas makes bubble nests and he doesn't do it while I'm around. If he knows I'm nearby, he spends his time stalking me for food. I can't even watch TV without knowing that his little eyes are watching me >O.o<

Same problem. They stop whenever I'm around. >.< But luckily I'm not around them 24/7 as I have a "Betta Room" in my house lol.

aw, i guess i'm lucky then! My guy watches me for a few minutes but if I don't feed him and I keep still he gives up and goes right back to making his nest so i can watch him its nice that I don't have to worry about this fish being bored in his tank. He seems to really enjoy making his nests!
