Question Can you wash silk plants with clorox?

Can you wash silk plants with clorox? I need to know so I can clean my sick bettas tank. Thank you

You CAN but you don't NEED to. If you do use very very very little and rinse VERY VERY VERY VERY well with hot water after. I'd suggest just using a bit of white vinegar and rinsing well after that. Or just HOT water.

Make sure it's just the plain clorox bleach without the detergents. You can fill a bucket with 19 parts water and 1 part bleach and soak your ornaments in the bucket. Then rinse very well, let dry, then rinse well again. Then add your ornaments to the tank and use a conditioner to remove any residual chlorine from the bleach.

I've done this many times to disinfect and clean my ornaments, works like a charm.

You have to make sure you wash the plant afterwards really good. It can kill the fish if there is any bleach left on the plant. Its the same with washing your hands with soap. Soap cant get into the water of your tanks, it can kill the fish :]
