Help!

I got a new 2.5 gallon Minibow from Petsmart yesterday. I just set it up and finally got the anubias tied down!! :) Could I use random rocks from my backyard instead of gravel? I want the tank to be more natural looking...Please help!!

Dont take my word, but if you really wanted to I would just use a 1 part bleach 9 part water and then rinse for a while. Then sun dry. However I opt for pet store rocks. :p

well yes and no. first collect the rocks you want to use and pour vinager on them . if they fizz you cant use them if they dont fizz you can use them. if you can use them wash them under warm water.

I use rocks from the backyard all the time. Have used them for 2 years, and only cleaned with hot water. Never had a problem ;)
