Can you post some pictures so that we can get a better idea?

How much salt did you add? a teaspoon per gallon is usually recommended, was there a reason for adding the AQ salt?

So many questions lol

This is what I have posted on many threads before yours

I would recommend putting your betta in a bare bottomed quarantine tank, this will be easier to do 100% daily water changes. The tank should also have aeration, ick is known to attach itself to fish gills making it difficult for them to breath and as cooler water has more oxygen than warm this is essential when raising the water temps. Add about 1 teaspoon of aquarium salt per gallon of water and change the water 100% daily adding the same amount of aquarium salt each time, you should continue the treatment for a week and if the ich is still present visit your LFS for an anti ich medication.

You should also carry out a 50% water change on his main home, cleaning the decorations and gravel, If I am wrong someone is bound to correct me, so stay tuned for people with more experience than me

thanks.
I heard heat was supposed to help my betta with ick but i dont have a heater so right now hes by my bearded dragons heat lamp. Its around 86F. Will it be ok for him there or does he need to be moved some where cooler so he can breath?

Betta's can only tolerate heat to 82 degrees,do you have a thermometer? if the temps are anything higher then I would have to suggest you move him unless you want a fried betta lol

Oh i was on this site that said that your water should be 89F to kill the ich and 86 to stop it from getting any worse. Have your bettas ever gotten ich?

They can tolerate up to 85 (I've even heard 86) but it has to be brought up gradually. When Kilo had ich I just added 1/2 tsp aquarium salt per gallon and cranked his tank up to 85 over the day. He got over it in a couple days and it never came back.

or do you think that if I just added 1/2 tsp of aquarium salt per gallon andstuck him by the lizard heater for his tank to go up to 85 he'll get better?
