Tango gets evicted!

Yep, it's come to that. I can't watch him terrorizing the poor corys anymore. He's getting to the point where he's hitting them. I figure biting and nipping will be the natural progression. I don't want that to happen.

So Tango got his own 5 gallon and he won't feel the need to be on patrol all the time. I got the tank Walmart was selling for 24 bucks (Hawkeye 5 gallon hex). It's long vs high which is good. He's all settled in with his new and old plants, heater, his IAL and his baffled filter. And he got a new decoration of his own to hide in. It's a cute little ship's bell. It nearly broke my heart to move him but it's best for everyone. Onto pics!

Where am I?!

Maybe it's not so bad. I can see the whole living room from here!

Since I'm stuck here, onto my usual day... flaring at that dalmation!

Hahaha I guess I got lucky that my boy leaves my cories and tetras alone D: if anything my cories go after him while he's sleeping as they try to clean around the plants lol.

He did fine for a year and a half and then suddenly went bonzo in the past month. I don't know if it's a maturity thing or what. But I can't let anyone get hurt. I see the corys are shoaling a lot better now. I think I'll get them a couple more friends so they can be 6.

I'm sorry that you had to take out of his tank. His new one looks very nice thou. I wonder makes he thinks of the size of his new tank compared his old. I hope you move him back sometime soon.

Nice tank. Its similar to the one I have Poe in right now. Are you going to add any new "center piece" fish to your 16 gallon?

Aw, he's so cute! I'm glad that my sorority's 'sisters' leave the cories alone.

At the LFS I went to today they had a bunch of Endler's Livebearers. I'm SO tempted. They also have guppies of all kinds. They only sell males too so I don't have to worry about prolific breeding for either. I had guppies in a 10 gallon once. It weren't pretty. Lol. I was also thinking Dwarf Gourami. I don't know much about them though.

Tango seems really happy. He's lounging all over the tank in between bouts of flaring at himself and hunting around for bloodworms. I've noticed that he's been laying on the bottom. He never did that before because the corys would always zoom him and he'd get mad and have to jump up and chase them. I'm wondering if he was angry because the two female corys are bigger then he is now and very hard to ignore.

The corys also seem a lot more relaxed. I see them in a little pile. I haven't seen them do that in a while. All in all everyone seems happier.

Guppies would be nice (but then again I've wanted guppies for a while LOL). If you did get lotsa babies you could just feed them to your bettas.

So pretty! Love the tank too. I would kill for a tank like that, but something small like a spider. LOL
