No, they just stay there. I have no idea why. You can raise the water level so they're under the lip of the filter and then they don't move at all but for some reason mine stay right under the filter. When the level's raised though I have to turn the flow down lower or add a sponge because the water gets pushed right over top of them otherwise.

We purchased some AquaClear filter insert sponges today and they are working great!

Heres some pics of Tiepolo's new apartment...the sponge hack, some silk plants, his castle and new 5g tank! He seems much more relaxed and happy since the mod...thanks for all the great tips!

No, but perhaps something similar. Ours was branded as "Aquabright"...we got it from Walmart, a really fantastic kit considering the price...but damn, we are getting a bit disturbed by the whole Betta situation at WalMart

Thanks so much, we really love our little guy!

They have that tank all over under different names. I saw it at Petsmart too. It's a great little tank. Tango LOVES it!

I can't find it on Wal Mart's site, but it looks from you pics EXACTLY like my Hawkeye. GREAT tank, IMO, but I can't find the 5 gal. on their site anymore. :(

@LionMom

They sold out and took it down the day after I bought mine. :( I guess all the fish people were getting the word out and hitting it hard. Lol!
