Am I just Paraniod??? Plz Help!!

Help! Im not sure if thats how Betta act or what. But It seems like hes freaking out... Sometimes he will stop but then he does it again. It looks like he is trying to get out. He is always going on the wall sometimes he goes in circle. My tank is about a gallon or more. I keep the temp at around 74 degrees. PLEASE HELP!!

How often do you change your water? Sometimes they spaz and zig zag across the wall of the tank, it's just their way of relieving boredome. :D However if you think there is something wrong, check your water, and maybe do a water change if you are due for one.

I clean my tank every 3 days... Thats what the people at the pet store told me to do... Is that too much? And ty :))

he's probably okay. you don't have to but i suggest that you invest for a slightly larger tank so he might have a little more space. He's probably using zigging as his daily exercise. If he's put into a larger tank he wont zig, he'll just swim the length of the tank.

In a one gallon you need to increase your water changes to 100% every-other day unless it has a filter or active growing live plants provided that uneaten food is removed after feeding and he is not over fed....also, the water temp is a bit too low...you need to get it up to at least 76-80F

Since this is new behavior it most likely is a water quality issue

Thanks guys, just to let you people know, Im going to get a 10 gallon tank, well maybe. Not sure yet. But Im 75% sure I am lol. Thanks for your help. Now I know what to do :)). I will post pics for you guys if and when I get it. I might get a heater too :)))
