I agree with everyone else. When you go to the store just keep an open mind, look through all the different betta's and pick the one that you connect with/like the best. If there is a decent selection, it won't be difficult to find the "perfect" one.

When I went to my local Petco to buy my betta one of the first bettas I saw was a blue delta tail butterfly (male). I looked at all the other fish (must have been around 30-40) But I didnt have eyes for another and settled for him. :D Oh and I walked in wih the intention of buying a crowntail :P
