Still having trouble! Argh!!

So a month or two back I posted about Roy being clamped up.
Well, he has improved a lot, but he is still clamped.
Here are some pictures;

This is him in the height of his clamping:

Here he is now:

Much improvement, although as you can see his tail has torn a little from flaring while clamped, and his ventrals are still clamped up as well.

I do plenty of water changes for him, he's in a 3.5 gal unfiltered tank that is kept at 80 degrees. I do a PWC in the middle of the week, and a 100% clean out at the end of the week.

My only other conclusion is - maybe I'm underfeeding him. Can that cause clamping? It seems every time I feed him a little more than usual, he unclamps a tad.

Gosh I don't know, I've ran out of ideas!

If anyone could shed some light, I'd be grateful. I want him to look like he did in my avatar again!
