Hello everyone, I have a 10g tank with 1 betta and 4 albino corys. Is there anything else I could out in there? I was thinking about a snail or frog, but is there anything different other than these? Also, no ghost shrimp. Let's just say Pepper got a nice meal the last time I tried it. :P
You could probably get away with 3 tetras. but that would put you at pretty close ot max stock, is your tank cycled? The tank in my signature is cycled, and I do 20% changes once a week and they are all fantastic. But depending on how vicarious your boy is, he may try to nip the tetras.
Yup, my tank has been set up for over a year, and I've been doing weekly water changes. I already know about that stocking website, but want to know what all your opinions are.
If it were me, I'd want the tetras cause they are fun, but introducing a new fish to an aquarium where the betta has already had run of the tank with no competition, you might be better off with two ADFs.
Thanks Phoxly, but when I introduced the corys into the tank, he had been alone all of his life, so he seems to be a pretty sweet boy other than with the ghost shrimp.
I think if he can handle the zippy cory's, he can probably handle the tetras, and depending on the kind you get (no long finned) they won't nip at him either.
what about white cloud minnows? Using that stocking site, if I added 5 of them, the tank would be 107% stocked with 30% water changes. So, do you think I could add 4-5 white clouds?
