Unhappy Burmese Python Bad News

Today, at 3:20pm, my 15 foot long Burmese Python was laid down. He suffered from internal bleeding caused by ingesting substrate. He was suffering, and I couldn't see making him go through it, and no surgeries could be performed.

I've had him since I was 13 years old.

I'm sincerely sorry for you loss. :( Snakes are tricky to operate on even under healthy conditions.
It's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.

:) Good saying. If you love something let it go... Man now that is stuck in my head.

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to have him buried in a pet cemetary. I've had him since I was a child. He was my first pet. I loved that snake.

So sorry... :(

It's always so hard to lose a pet that you've had for a long time..

I fed mine chickens. Feeder chickens. 4 of them, then he'd be good for 2 months.
