Best websites?

What are the best websites that will give detailed information about breeding bettas? I want to know everything I can that goes as far back as learning about genetics, etc but I don't know where to start looking so I thought the more experienced members could point me in the right direction

Thank you

I did a lot of my research off Bettysplendens.com. She has great articles on breeding, breeding methods, and genetics.
This website (http://www.bettaterritory.nl/) also has some great articles on breeding.

Those three are probably the most thorough and well researched sites on betta breeding and genetics out there that don't require you to join the IBC to look at. If you do have an extra $20 or so joining the IBC will open up a lot of very informative articles and enable you to get in contact with IBC breeders and pick their brains.

You can join the IBC if your in the UK. It is the International Betta Club There is also a European Club called the European Halfmoon Betta Breeders Club (EHBBC). I do believe that breeders of other tail types can also join.

Joep who is the author of the Bettaterritory site is a member of the EHBBC, I believe. He is located in the Netherlands. You might try contacting him for more information about the European clubs/groups.
