Hi all....

My betta bubbles has a white spot between his fin and his face...I am not sure what it is. He seems fine. His water temp stays between 73-78. I am thinking of just going ahead and putting in his heater and seeing at what temp the water goes. But what is this white spot? He seems normal enough, and he is still a little piggy. Idk.

Is it like a white bump or just a spot? My friend has a betta with a big-ish white lump on its belly a little futher down than his ventral fins and it is about this big

It could be ich. Have you seen him rub up agains anything in his tank? Gravel, plants, big rocks, tanks walls etc... If the spots multiply all over his body and fins it is most likely ich.

My Wasabi had ich and i it started off with his face and pectoral fins and by the next day it was his whole body and fins!
