I HATE tail biting as well!!!! My HMDBT tail bites, but since I moved him to his 2.5 gallon kritter keeper in sister's old new hasn't done it for a minute. I'm first timer with tail biting. I have question are these two in a divide tank?? If so then they may be best in tank by themshelfves.

^^^ well its the most radical disease imo apart from columnaris lol...

maehk started in the divider tank and salmon started after a finrot case in the 2.5g. salmon loved the divider and the critter keeper, maehk hates divider lol. i dont care they're all going in divider caus i cant change water every day anymore... i hope edward doesnt start biting...

^^^ its only maehk that bites because of the divider... and considering the setup costs ALOT of money i cant make compromises because of one fish. i know sounds cruel but he'll have to deal with it...

i put him in the corner section so he has free views and added a LOAD of deco. not more i can do for him...

Frank is a tailbiter, and Elvis was too. Sooooo frustrating. I've gotten frank to stop biting for a few months now, and its finally growing back, but I'm just waiting for him to chomp it again.
