Question Feeding Confusion!

Hi Guys!!

I just got a my 2nd betta fish, (my first died last Dec.) and I also got new food b/c my old stuff was stale. I want Solo, the new betta, to have a more varied diet than Turk (R.I.P). The new food I got was Aquarian pellet feed and Top Fish freeze-dried bloodworms. I fed Turk 4-5 worms every other day, and I was going to stick with that for Solo too. But the new pellets i have say to be fed to the fish 2x a day, 3-4 pellets per feeding. The worms had no suggested feeding amount/frequency. I am rather confused on how often and how much of either I should feed Solo if i want him to eat both. If any of you more experienced Betta-keepers have any advice, it would be greatly appreciated!!

This is just my opinion, but, depending on the size of the fish, 4-6 pellets a day, twice a day, I feed them freeze-dried bloodworms one day a week, and again, 4-6 bloodworms a day, twice a day.

I only feed 3-4 feeding once a day. No matter what food it is. Its to prevent overfeeding. I also fast my fishes once every week
