I'm glad to hear that Fred is doing better. Did you buy two more bettas or were the two that you referred to already around?

My daughters got them as gifts. We have 3 total. I'm not sure if all of them are male but each has their own tank. They came in cups and the fish store sold their grandma little bowls to put them in. I changed their water every other day, but fred got really sick I thought he was going to die. So I got on the site and read some suggestions. Turns out he had amonia poisoning, and tail rot, poor guy. After about 2 months freds tail is back and hes playfull again.
