Not aquestrian snails, but terrestrial ones. I caught one today, (It wasn't so much of a catch but a pick up), put him in a little home, and now I need to know what they eat.
I'd say aquarium algae wafers just like aquatic snails. Plant matter also. I'm not sure about meat though. Maybe slice strawberries into thing slices with a sharp knife? Or otherfruits and veggies.
Feed the snails twice a week. Replace any old food with new food. Snails eat fruits and vegetables. Place pieces of chalk or cuttlebone in each habitat to provide calcium, which snails need for shell growth and repair.
I'm not sure. He has a brown shell and is really small. This morning he fell out of his cage and I found him in my hamper! Poor little fella, probably pretty scared. I will take some pics Later.
once i had a land snail that ate dogfood. i know it sounds weird but i googled it and a lot of people suggested that. when i look in the cage the dogfood is half eaten and there's white fuzz on it. i also think they eat rotting fruit and stuff
