Tarzan X Koda

Hello everyone this is my spawning log!

I am currently breeding my two babies!! A beautiful female-halfmoon-(i think) betta named Koda and And a handsome male named Tarzan.

I have conditioned them for 6 days and just released the female last night at Almost 1:00 in the morning!

So they are chasing and nipping and he has made a bubblenest. he keeps trying to lure her over to his nest-well it looks like it-and when she goes over to him he flares at her for her to get away and she zooms FAST away!!

She still has not filled up with eggs. im kind of worried.

As long as she's displayed breeding stripes, that indicates that there are eggs present. That's the same for my girl; she's stayed egg-less but she has breeding stripes.

Also, I heard somewhere that females always have eggs, even though they might not look fat and eggy. Not sure if that's true, but...

What are your goals for this spawn?

My goals for this spawn is, To see what the fry will look like. I think The female is a Halfmoon her back tail is really wider than all the other females that i have. Also it is my first spawning attempt. I would love to see the embrace in person aswell as anyone else does.

My goals for this spawn is, To have a successful spawn and just have some fry and have the responsibility and take the challenge:)
