Since I was doing water changes yesterday I decided to play "matchmaker" a little with Prince and some of my girls.

Him and Jane (this is the pair I will probably spawn this winter)...


That is as close to his natural color as my camera can get.

Prince and Nancy.. this is another pairing I'm seriously considering. Nancy is a really good breeder whereas Jane is unproven.

Here are just some cool size comparisons I got of Poe when I was cleaning his tank (I usually don't take him out but I was doing a big water change). Jasper is a normal sized Betta.

IMO Jane's caudal fin looks a little beat up. Some aquarium salt will clear that strait up. Also, i think The blue female with Prince would be a GREAT pair they looks so cute!! That would be some interesting colored fry.

Jane's caudle is nipped because she was trying to be the Alpha and Jaffa was not going to put up with that so she had to be put in her place. It will grow back fine without AQ... I only use AQ with really bad bites.
