ugh, power outage!

today, me and my mom went to bed and breakfast by the beach, and we went swimming until about five, and when we came back to the room to dry off for dinner, the power was out! and then we found out it was out in the whole town! then we heard that the whole county was blacked out! my cousins (who were staying at a different b&b down the road) and I were going to meet for dinner at a nearby restaurant, but it was closed because of the power outage. we called up different restaurants, but none were open! we finally found a Chinese restaurant that was open. the power went back on at about 8:30! we were walking down the street and saw that most of the store's light's were on, but they were closed! one even had the fan running! when everyone closed their stores and left because of the blackout, they forgot to switch off the lights!
