so i want to breed my female red cambodian doubletail.
BUT I DON'T HAVE A MALE :o
i want to breed her 2 recessive genes with a male that has 2 recessive genes.
i want one of them to be halfmoon but i don't know about the other gene. is white/platinum/opaque recessive?

the reason i want to breed recessive genes is to have a variety of uncommon bettas.

What do you want out of the fry? Just wanting a bunch of mixed up fry is not a very responsible goal in mind. If you want something that is uncommon you should first research uncommon traits in bettas right now and find stock with those traits and go from there.
