Well we sold our house... before we found a new house to move into lol. So I am going to be putting my tank at a friends house til the official move.

I'm kinda worried, it is a 10 gallon. I figure I'll keep it filled half way at my friend's house, keep the plants and everything in it, and for the actual move...

The plan:
Put the fish and half the tank's water in a 5 gallon bucket and use it to carry them to the friend's house. I can probably carry the aquarium with the sand in the bottom of it, or put half the sand in the bottom of the bucket too...?

This is going to be a pain, but it is the only way eh.

Any suggestions...

You dont need to carry around all that water. The beneficial bacteria colonies live in the substrate and on the filter sponge pad. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THE FILTER'S SPONGE WET! otherwise all the beneficial bacteria will die and you will have to recycle the tank...

Oh really? D: that'll make it easier... Maybe just keep 2-3 gallons to put the fish in with plants and the filter sponge?
