Betta Barracks

I came across these a while back and was just wondering whether people actually use them for long term use, the only thing I can imagine these being used for are betta breeders when they need to separate the males. This is what the look like for people who are not familiar.

Wow way too tiny! Yeah may be good to use in a tank if only temp for a short time. Maybe can be used for a female betta that isn't getting along with the other females till she calms down or till you get a seperate tank for the betta in question. I'm not sure what else it can be used for but surely not for long term confinement.

I've seen those before at a lps and online. I all ways hoped noone would buy one and think it's okay for bettas to live all their lives in. Think their alright fo breeders because it's just tepereroy with them. Some Petsmarts keep their bettas in things just like that, but snap in out from above the tanks.
