torn fins growing back clear

sooo the male i bought with the badly torn fins is healing very nicely . he was so badly ripped up he had almost nothing left of any of his fins, happily after treating him with a general medication from tetra he is well on his way to recovery. however the new fin tissue is completely clear as far as i can tell except for a very faint black border much like his brother. he is a beautifiul pinky red colour and has a few bluish streaks froming in the red parts of his fins i was just wondering if anyone else had a betta that healed with clear fins? or will the colour come in later? i've never had such a badly torn up betta before so am new to seeing fins grow back in.

The clear fin growth is normal and sometimes they will color back up...not always-just depends on how bad it was, water quality and the Betta age.

he was torn up pretty bad, he was sold to me as a female and was in the same tank as Ares who is a very aggresive lil boy. I'm very happy with the progress he has made since he was seperated from Ares he actually looks like a male now just with a short tail and ventral fin. he's in the community at the moment after i took him away from the fry and seems to be doing really well, i've put some floating plants in, i think its hornwort and i added some vallis and he loves to hang out in both. the vallis is so tall its leaves float on the water surface.
