Question New betta!! :)

Hi everyone!

I'm pretty new here, so please bear with me if I make a mistake. :) I'm Alissa, I have one female betta, 2 mollies, a male platy and 4 guppy fry. (The guppies are in a breeding net and my female betta is very docile). But, today, I got another betta! Yay!! I am not quite sure what kind he is, but he was more expensive than the others, so I believe he might be a viel tail (?) I'm not sure. But, anyways, he lives in my 14 gallon, with a divider. He has about 5 gallons of swimming space. He loves it! He is having so much fun swimming around and exploring! He was so happy to leave the little bowl he was in. I tested the ammonia and it was THROUGH THE ROOF! Crazy! But, I have a few questions. :)

1. What kind of betta is he?

2. What color is he? (I mean, what is he classified as? Albino?)

3. What should I name him? I really want his name to be unique. :) I want it to be something majestic, maybe roman or Chinese. Like "Calypso", or "Commet". Maybe a god or something. :) I don't know, just through a few names out there.

**Even if you can't answer any of the other questions, please tell me any ideas for his name that you have!!! :)

Peace~
Alissa

He looks like a veiltail, but I'm not sure about that... He might be Apricot, but not albino-I think... Maybe Hermes or Chiron( pronounced ky-ron ). Hope this helps! :)

Not albino. Albinos are pure white and have pink eyes. Yours looks like a Veiltail or possibly a delta. He has a peachy color :P

Cool! Unforchunetly, I can't post anything better. My cameras not very good, it's actually a recorder, so taking pictures is like an extra. Even the videos aren't good, but I'll post one to see if seeing him move around can help. :) Thanks for the help guys!

The name Ickarus popped into my head.

He kind of looks like a yellow marble-ish color to me. However, I've been told I'm color blind. XD He looks closer to a Delta than a Veiltail, but it's hard to tell. :)

Wow beautiful :) He looks like a Veiltail to me.

How about Apollo (greek/roman god), or Ryu-jin (chinese meaning king of dragons), or... .Ra (egyptian sun god).

I like Ikarus too - he flew too close to the sun and got burned, and your betta is bright and fiery :)

I've been taking pictures of my betta with a Nintendo DSi which seems to do a decent enough job.
