My New 2ft Aquarium

I have been wanting to upgrade my 20L/5G tank for a while and when I went into one of the aquarium stores in my area, I found one that I love. Its a 2ft, 60L tank.

Im using a Fluval filter and a Jager Eheim Heater. They seem to be very reliable. I had an AquaOne heater, but it didnt seem to be able to hold the temperature consistantly.

Once it finished cycling, (I used Seachem Stability), Marley my betta, 5 Sterbai Corys and 3 shrimps moved in! (but now its 2 shrimps as I think I may have sucked one out in a water change .......... I feel terrible !!!)

I plan on getting more shrimp soon LOL.

I also had an albino bristlenose in quarantine, but she only lasted a night ........... so I will replace her in the near future.

I quarantine everything now as all my local pet/aquarium stores all seem to be suffering with ich at the moment. Aparently its the time of the year for it. I feel that its better to be safe than sorry.

I was thinking that maybe down the track I might buy a small school of beacon/head and tail light tetras.

Anyway, just thought I would share a couple of pics of it.

Your tank is breathe taking!
I LOVE those cories! =] So the tank is about 15 gallons right? (if 20L=5 gallons then 60L should be about 15?)

yes they are all live plants except for the little one near the log with purple flowers.

Yes thats about right. I think when I put it in Aquadvisor it said 16G, but once you add the rocks ect I think it would be somewhere around 15g.
Its in my room, so I wouldnt want it any bigger. Its bad enough that I have to carry all the water upstairs when I do a water change (my buckets wont fit under the taps in thr bathrooms) lol
