My new female betta fish!

I went to the petstore this morning in hopes of finding a little betta for my new setup (it's been set up and running for a week). Well, I did! I found an adorable little veiltail who is only 1 inch long. She has blue/red eyes and reds, browns and very light reds with purple/blue colors. And gold near her gills! She's very curious. I think I'm going to name her Autumn:

Is she a multicolored veiltail?

I am going to put her in her new home soon, she getting adjusted to the temperature now and I have to watch the new heater I put in a while first, to make sure it's working properly!
She is in a 5 gallon tank with a filter and a heater (adjustable...hopefully it works!) and a pretty ocean theme. She does not have a direct light, but I might get one this weekend if needed, her home is on a higher place in front of the windows so she gets alot of light during the day. :)
I introduced her to Thai, I think they were looking at eachother curiously when she was up on the dresser. lol
I find it cool because she has random specks of gold in her and Thai has random specks of silver.

Sorry that the first pic was blurry, i'll get a better one soon!
I just put her in the new tank and she's exploring it. She stared down the glowy light on the heater for a minute, lol

Wow, she's so teeny!

I noticed that this week at petco a lot of the bettas were much too young to be out on the shelves like that... I'm glad you're able to give that little one a good home. (:

Thanks! ^^
Here are two more pictures of her, I have two more that's taking a long time to upload, my internets being slow.

You can see the gold behind her front fins. :D
I'm going to get a light soon, then the pictures will be more clear. But part of that is cause she is in a tinted blue tank....it's supposed to be like the ocean. I put a large glass jar in there with blue and white glass pebbles falling out of it like gyms. She keeps arching her back and poking at them. lol
