Try and get the salt as soon as possible, and change the water as often as you can. Clean water and salt will usually clear up fin rot and may help with whatever else is bothering him. Try that and let us know what happens.

If you can't get the salt, change the water. Use spring water if you can.

Keep us posted.

I wish the picture was better quality.. I can't tell much from that... Darting into the rocks makes me thing external parasites like ich... Does he have any sort of yellow/white dust on him?

Speaking of fish darting into the gravel, time for me to take a video and make a thread myself about unusual behaviour... He's freaking me out tonight.

Now that I think about it, something similar happened to my first betta Indigo. One day he started wedging his head under the gravel and exhibited similar symptoms. I lost him, but I found out later from testing the water that there were traces of soap. I hadn't been careful when cleaning his bowl (this was before I knew not to ever wash a tank with soap). It might be something wrong with your water. Rinse out your tank and everything in it with HOT water and scrub them down. Then fill it with spring water. Then try salt baths if you havn't already. If he doesn't get any better, you may even want to look into some sort of medication. This is all I can think of to do.

Sadly Bleachie Passed :(((. But I did know that he had fin rot from stress, from the tank being so small. So I got a new fish and a 10 gallon tank!! :) His name is Fez:)) From the That 70's Show :DD
