Female Bettas!

Hello, everyone i am in desperate need of a female betta.

I dont really care about what tail type it is i just want a few or at least one female betta. Preferably crowntail but any tail type is okay!

So does ANYONE have any females up for adoption?

Well i am trying to breed and i just want a spawn!

i know it sounds irresponsible but ive done my homework!

i also want a female because im an experimental breeder.

When you're looking for bettas for adoption, in my mind it's always a good idea to say WHY you are looking for a female, because some people who want to adopt out their bettas might not want them to be bred.

Why dont you buy them? You cant be cheap when it comes to breeding bettas. Its expensive from what I hear.

i know this but i need to get at least one female betta because the female that i bought is past the breeding prim age. so i was hoping someone else would be able to send me a female and we could negotiate.

Also if there are some people that dont want me to breed their female i wont i will just add it to my sorority tank because i do want at least two more for my 10 gal sorority. I want to get 6 bettas for the 10 gal sorority!!

So is that right do i sound evil or mean?

Oh, if you want a good quality pair for pretty much nothing, join the IBC, and then as a new member you can have one of the other members will send you a pair of bettas. Apparently you can't chose what they look like, what type they are or anything, but you will be getting a good breeding pair with good genetics, which is a plus :)

Well i didnt buy one because i already bought a plakat pair and i want to get a different female for my store bought breeding pair:) so that makes sense right?

You didn't say anything about caring what the female is. There is a difference from "Experimental" breeding and just plopping to random fish together.

I just bought two females off aquabid. I paid 30 dollars for them, Which is CHEAP. You can still be an experimental breeder and be responsible and care about the quality of your fish.

I would recommend Aquabid or bettysplendens.
