Babylon got eaten by the filter. Help? Or Console?

That right there is Babylon, aka my favorite favorite fish in my sorority and how I justified spending over 80 dollars on all the supplies for the sorority and getting the sorority itself. She's black (like black black, not dark blue or purple, black) with red fins (she's a crowntail) And yeah. Love this girl to death.

Got back to my girlfriend's house where I'm keeping her until I go home (We were out to lunch and then got my girls some bloodworms) and when we went to feed them...she was stuck on the filter. I don't know for quite how long, we were out for a few hours. And then when we turned the filter off because she was stuck, she floated around wildly and we scooped her up into her petco cup. She's breathing, and not always on her side when she swims but the second she stays still she's back on her side and just gaaahhh my baby T_T I don't know what to do.

Lower the water level in the cup a bit more.

Is it her fins that are ripped, or is one side of her body pretty scratched up?

Hopefully she'll be okay.
She may just be in shock right now.
I hope she pulls through. :(

@JKFish Yeah the side of her body is ripped up too, and we're lowering the water right now.

@Saroar god I hope so. Though now I don't even know how I'm getting her home I live a good forty minutes away on a good traffic day and I have to go home today.

Sorry for your loss. She must have been too badly damaged internally,
