Oooer...such a deep red, and I love the black tip of his fin! Lovely boy you have there. :)

Thanks! I plan to get a better picture, but I need to get more familiar with my camera-which I've had for over a year now. I tried to let my 2 year old pick but he was done making choices for the day. He wanted to look around at everything else instead. :)

He's beautiful! I love his deep, dark red, with the black tips. He's stunning!
It looks like you might have some sharper plants, though, so I'd look out. Try running some panty-hose over the plants, if it catches on it, it might be a good idea to toss them and get some silk plants. Your betta will thank you (; Those plastic plants catch delicate betta fins and rip them up ):

Well, I liked him so much I went looking for my own red boy today. Alas no luck at the local. I haven't had a red boy since my very first smishy (Goldy Boy...as named by my 5 year old. :P see av). I kind of feel like I would be cheating on him if I bought another red one...lol
