Question Noob Question

Is it possible that a betta who dosnt have dragon scales when you got him, develop them later in life? sorry if this is an uber noob question just wondering.

If a betta is super young when purchased he'll develop to his full potential by 5-6 months of age.

Hmmm ok I was just wondering...I have a VT that was all white when I bought him and he's starting to change colors...he's getting red In His fins and blue in his tail...he is also getting a counle dots of red on his head...could he be a dragon or no?

No, dragons look like they are wearing "armor" almost. Sounds more like a marble to me. They like to change their colors on you. ;)
Someone posted a good link to a bettysplendens article about marbles, i'll take a look for it.

I love marbles. If you get any fry from my current spawn I might have some marbles because their uncles have marbling.

Ok sweet! Thanks...Idk if he's a marble tho...I think when he was young e had a nasty case of finrot because when I got him over half his fins were transparent lime new finnage...hmm he's still a mystery on how he will turn out..so far he looks just weird
