I don't feed pellets as a staple, but when they get pellets I feed Aqueon betta pellets. They work well for me.

Mine are on a main diet of bloodworms right now. I had to leave the rest of my frozen food at home when I moved back to school. They only get pellets 2-3 times a week and right now they're on garlic soaked mixture of Topfin Betta Bites, Aquaculture, and Wardley's (crushed).

I'm ordering some Attinson's Betta Pro and NLS Betta soon and getting rid of the other pellets.

I feed mine New Life Spectrum pellets, and then once or twice a week he gets frozen brine shrimp. (: Working on grabbing some frozen blood worms for him this week, too.

I like switching it up on them. I use Attison's and Omega one betta buffet pellets. I'm thinking of ordering Attison's pro and some New Life Spectrum to add to it. I also feed hiakri frozen blood worms and daphnia when they seem a little constipated.
I used to feed Hikari Bio Gold, but they switched their ingredients and now they're not the best pellet brand out there. You want a good meat source as the first ingredient and a high protein content.

Top fin color enhanced betta bites and once in a while just to mix things up a bit for their royal highnesses (XD) i give them wardley's. Once a week they get either hikari frozen mysis shrimp (just got it yay!) or freeze dried bloodworms, or tubifex worms as a treat. (wow i just noticed how much i spoil them ROFL!

I really like the New Life Spectrum pellets, the main ingredient is protein, not filler (wheat) unlike Hikari's new blend
(which I believe has a filler as the main ingredient), and there are lots of other things in it like garlic.. nom, you should find a food where the main ingredient is protein, not filler

I feed the Aqueon betta pellet. I think flakes are bad for them.
