help with identifying fish

I went to the petstore yesterday to get 2 more otto catfish. I think the pet store gave me chinese algae eaters by mistake. Here are pics of the fish. What do you guys think it is? In the first pic the new fish is sucking on the glass and my old otto is on the substrate. In the second pic the second new fish is sucking on the tank.

Looks like a chinese algae eater.

Yeah, it is. You can see the sucker in the first picture really well. Make sure you have algae tablets and algae growing for it :) Or return it :P

I wouldnt mind keeping it but will they get along with my betta?

I'd return it if I were you, CAE can grow up to be quite nasty-and I think they don't eat algae anymore, either!

That looks nothing like any CAE I've ever seen, and I spend a great deal of time around all kinds of "sucker fish" at work.

Its difficult to tell because the pics are a bit fuzzy, but I'm quite positive one of them is an Otto. The other, slightly larger one in the first pic looks like it MIGHT be a young SAE...SIAMESE Algae eater, which is different from a CAE, though they still get rather large.
Take a close look at some Otto and SAE pics online and compare them to your fish, that should help you determine what is what.

It looks a bit like a flying fox fish

I've had those fish before. The eventually stopped tending to their algae eating duties after a few weeks and began harassing my african cichlids.

As far as I understand, the Flying Fox and SAE are basically the same fish...someone correct me if I'm wrong here ;P

But, yeah. They still get rather large and stop eating algae as they get older, though they're less aggressive then the CAE, they still get aggressive and will harass your fish. I'd return it if I were you...if that is what it is of course, which I'm starting to think it is as I look at these pictures more. There's definitely a difference between the two fish in the first picture...
