You COULD try warm, low salt, chicken broth if you have it. When my babies are sick sometimes they'll go for that when all else fails. Keep him warm and comfy til tomorrow. Good luck! :)

Took him to the vet. He's got a virus, which is why he's so snooty >.> He also has ulcers on his tongue, making eating uncomfortable, hence the reason why he's not eating. He's on a soft-food diet, if we can get him to eat.

So glad you got your cat in for help!, there are very nasty feline viruses, especially if he has not been vaccinated. (see about that after he gets well)

I can sympathize that Dr visits wreck your budget, most vets are very good about small regular payments. Try meat baby foods for him, and the juice off cheap oil-packed tuna. Since they evolved from a desert background, cats are not real good about drinking enough water even when they are well, make sure he has access to fresh clean water always.

Care, luck and love, I bet he'll be fine soon. Good Luck.

Hopefully he will start eating again soon, since you know whats wrong and how to treat it, when he starts feeling better he will eat. Especially since it's softer food, he'll probably eat even sooner!

He lapped up a bit of gravy from a fancy feast meal (: Not a lot, but it's a start! Maybe this'll get him kind of "whetted" for appetite, and he'll try a bite >.>

Aw, he probably feels wretched. Try warming it up just a bit. You know how warm liquids feel when you're sick? I'm glad he's on the mend though. Being sick sucks!

He ate a bite!! :D ^_^ I feel so much better now. I think he's feeling better today than he did yesterday (x
I'll warm it up later. We've got some guests over, so they might find it a bit... odd, to find cat food in the microwave, LOL.

His nose looked very runny in the picture.
I'm glad he's doing better.
