The boys are totally stressing me out right now!

They refuse to eat. Well, kind of. They eat it, then spit it out, and repeat till the pellet is half gone then they just let it drop. I use Hakiri Betta Bites (the baby sized ones) so I know they aren't too big. I have tried soaking them for different lengths, so they are a little harder or softer, but nothing has worked. My female eats fine (she is a little piggy, she gets 3 pellets and begs for more whenever anyone is in the kitchen) but the boys don't :/ Should I fast them for a day? What are the signs of constipation? Would that cause them not to eat?

OT, I was getting the pellets ready and Chowder was napping. I set a mug on the counter and it must have woken him up cause he swam to the front of the tank, flared at me, then went to his terra cotta pot and yawned. It was the cutest thing ever :)

My betta does this also, its a form of chewing, mine usually eats it before it sinks, although ocassionally he lets it sink to the bottom, but he eats it off the ground, i woildnt be too worried. Your fishie must eat them off thr ground when your not there
