Bettas & Bloodworms??

Being that Betta's are Carnivorous would they be interested in Frozen Bloodworms at all?? I keep them since the fish in my other tank go crazy over them. I got Simon some Betta pellets when I got him. But I wasn't sure if anyone has ever given or tried to give their Betta any sort of Bloodworm as a treat.

Also, what about freeze dried brine shrimp?? I have those also.

Any other foods or treats people have had any luck with??

:)

Most Bettas love frozen bloodworms. Just remember your betta's stomach is pretty small so he only needs a couple.

Any kind of live food they particularly love. Mine really like to go after wingless fruit flies which many pet stores carry in little tube cultures. They will jump out of the water for them.

Yeah, frozen bloodworms are pretty popular.

As for the brine shrimp, I feed mine frozen, but if you have freeze-dried just make sure that you soak them verr well to rehydrate them before you feed them. Otherwise, they can cause some pretty nasty bloating.

I feed freeze dried bloodworms and brine shrimp. Freeze dried food needs to be rehydrated before feeding to prevent digestive problems.

I know about the freeze dried treats. Thanks for responding guys! I really appreciate it. I tried to give him a few (3) and he wanted nothing to do with them, so I took them out. Don't want the tank to get yucky since I'm the only person keeping his tank clean.
