Hey, guys! After my little buddy, Phoenix past on, I'm wondering who should enter my home next? What kind/gender of betta should I get? Thanks!

That's up to you
. You get to choose what you want. I personally like bright red crowntails, but you should pick want you feel is right.

Just go without a real idea, and chose the one that "calls" to you. Sometimes they're the ugliest betta there, but you just have to have them (:

Do solo female bettas behave differently from males? Can females be kept solo? Are there color combinations that are genetically weaker than others from inbreeding? Or is picking the right fish as simple as get the one you are drawn to?
