Fin Rot

There is a supposed HM betta at the local petco by me. I wasn't able to buy it but I think if they still have it I want to go back and get it. It has very clear fin rot. I was wondering how to treat it if I do end up getting him. I have aquarium salt, and stress coat+. I read the back of the stress coat bottle and it says it helps treat fin rot and other diseases. I was wondering if anyone has ever used it, or what you've used that has worked.

Thanks for reading :)

Often the best treatment is quality water along with daily water changes and a good diet.
If the fin rot is advanced-aquarium salt 1tsp/gal along with 100% daily water changes for 10 days and good diet can be helpful

I like to do treatment in small QT containers and pre-mix the salt in a clean 1g jug to make dosage and water changes easier

I keep my water temp in the 76-77F area for treatment due to bacteria (both good and bad) thrive best in warmer water
