new and have a problem

hi all,ive a proplem with my betta,his fins have faded.heres some pics:


any one wot the problem is?

hi,he is eating ok,just watched him eat.swimming ok too.no change in tank,all the leavels are ok,been the same for nearly 3 mounths.
he looked ok yesterday,we have had him nearly 2 mounths.
could it be old age?

I highly doubt it. Bettas can live a good 5+ years in the proper conditions.

I, personally, don't see anything wrong with him...those lighter spots on his fins are probably just his coloring, I've seen plenty of fish like that. He actually looks very beautiful and healthy to me ;)

I vote that it's marbling also--you should expect to see more changes in his coloration over time. He's looks perfectly healthy.
