Wow, you did an amazing job getting him healthy looking again. Do you mind if I ask what you did to treat his poor fins? He really is beautiful.

LOL I have a Danio named "Taco" too! I watched that indy movie "Spun" & Brittany Murphy's (RIP) tweaker character had a green dyed dog named that.

I LOVE that tank! Where did you buy the decoration? I didn't know you could use sand for freshwater, lol, silly me...I def wanna try that next!

What an amazing change since you rescued him. There's a special place in heaven for fish lovers.

Hey DH, thanks! I missed this place, been so busy with stuff lately, hoping to stick around here more often!

Tay, the only thing I did was use aquarium salt and stress coat, to help repair his fins. They slowly healed over time, and are still growing out.

cballas, the egyptian decoration I got from Petco on clearance like... 2 years ago. I found it for around $3 in the clearance bin and had no tank to put it in at the time, so I just stored it. Whenever I bought that 5 gallon from Walmart, I figured that was the perfect tank to put it in.

Wow, I just LOVE seeing stories like this about little rescues... not that they aren't all rescues when they're living in the death cups but this little guy was on death's door. Good on your for saving him - and look at what a stunning boy was hiding in that ugly blue cup water! Also, his tank is a palace. Just lovely. :)
