Bubblenests DO NOT mean their happy.. we AS fishkeepers like to think it is, but it is NOT

It is a natural Mating instinct and a way for a male to mark his own territory.

I've been in pet shops and seen Sick and Dying Betta's making bubble nests.

Hi All,

Please see his photos of today. (Sorry for the poor quality). Does there seem any reduction in bloating wrt yesterday?
Also, there is cotton like stuff on his tail n fins (it is very sparse so cud not catch in the snap) Please suggest some thing for that.

If it's cotton looking... that's most likely a fungal infection.
