petsmart fish :(

I ended up buying a Betta from Petsmart, pretty bad I know. :( I wasn't planning on buying any fish, just picking up some supplies. A betta caught my attention, partly because he was beautiful and partly because he was freaking out in that little cup.
He does have a SMALL amount of fin rot; his top fin looked slightly clumped on the very tip.You can't even see it on the picture (not that it's a very good one).Will it go away on it's own with proper care and some salt?
Also the ends of his fins are clear, should I be concerned?
On the plus side he was making bubbles last night. Good sign right?

Welcome to the forum! Yes, the fin will probably unclump itself with clean, warm water and some tlc. The clear ends on his fins are just a pattern, called the butterfly pattern. It can vary in width but any fish that has a clear/white band on his fins is a butterfly. He's beautiful!
